I'm Legal!

Hey everybody!

I haven't posted anything in quite a while because I've been so busy with school and work but today I had to. Why? Well today is a very special day, it is my 21st birthday. I did have class today but I only have one class on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I was out by 11:00 with the whole day free to do what I wanted. After class my friends Mike and Olivia took me out to lunch and it was delicious. We went to California Pizza Kitchen in Schaumburg and had some Hawaiian pizza. I'd never had it before but it was surprisingly delicious! Then my friend mike took me out for icecream at coldstone in the mall and I had cake batter ice cream. OH MY GOSH! The best thing I've ever eaten before. I was so full after that I didn't eat another bite all day until dinner. For Dinner my family and I went out for Mexican food at La Hacienda and we had Margaritas. They were ok, the alcohol in them tasted kinda nasty but they were decent. I tried a strawberry Margarita and I tried some of my parents normal ones which I liked much better because they were more tart so you couldn't taste the alcohol as much. Any who, it was a great day. Seems like all I did today was eat but it was sure fun! =]

Six Flags Great America- Opening Day

Yesterday was a fantastic day! My friends Ceila, Carla, Carol and I all went to Six Flags Great America. It was the first day it opened for the season and boy did we have fun. It started out a little crazy when they were predicting rain and thunderstorms in the forecast but it stayed nice for us! It was pretty cold all day but it didn't rain what so ever. It was mighty foggy as well and there was no sun at all but at least the rain held out until later on that night.
We arrived around 10 am and because of the weather it was extremely dead. We rode every ride at least three times in a row without even having to get off and get back in line. It was perfect!
Later that afternoon it did get a bit busyer but not nearly as bad as it usually is during the summer time. Overall it was a great day! We stayed all day from 10-6pm going from ride to ride so we definitely got our moneys worth.

April Fools Pie in the Face

Happy one Day late April fools all! It was quite a great April fools day yesterday because it was also my good friend Ceila's 21st birthday as well. You cant have a birthday on April fools without being pranked. Not to mention it was her 21st birthday so I had to get her real good!
I'd been thinking about pranking her for a while and I didn't really know what to do until yesterday when I decided I would just get some whip cream and pie her in the face so that's exactly what I did.
I plotted my plan on the phone with her sisters while she wasn't home and then when she finally got home I came over to hang out. I told her not to get ready for going out to dinner until I got there because I wanted to give her the birthday present I had bought her first. Once I got there, her mom and two sisters came outside with her. They told her to close her eyes and put her hands out. That's my cue! I came in with the plate of whip cream, told her to open her eyes and smashed it in her face. And of course I was video taping the whole thing. It was AMAZING! Best April fools day yet! Probably my best April fools because I actually pranked somebody. I always say I'm gonna prank someone but I never do. Not this year!

Photo Shoot

Today is a great day, my last day of school before spring break. I'm so excited! I've finally completed all my final projects and now all I have to do is hand them in. Yesterday I had a huge final project to do and I almost didnt think I was gonna get it done but I have completed it. I have been quite busy with all these other projects so I had to leave it until last minute. Thats definitely not a smart idea but I did get it finished!
My sister, her friend Caitlin and I went to my school last night and I shot pictures of them in the photography studio that we have. I had to choose a fashion photography picture and re-create it which was semi difficult but not to bad. The pictures turned out pretty decent if I do say so myself. I'm sure I could of done better if I would of had more time but the pictures we did get will just have to do.
I'm hoping to check out the studio again another day and shoot some more pictures of my sister and Caitlin. Just for fun though, not for a project.

Crazyness and Dekalb.

Its almost spring break, I'm so excited its finally here. Things have been getting crazy at school since its almost the end of the quarter. I've been going a little crazy as well with school work and final projects and such. This weekend was great though! My friend Ceila and I drove down to Dekalb Illinois to visit our good friend Chandra. We stayed over night at her apartment until Sunday and left on Sunday night. It was so much fun! Complete girls weekend. We reminisced about all these old times like middle school, high school and had fun dancing and listening to music as well. We ate a bunch of junk food and stayed up really late and eventually crashed on the couches in her living room. It was a great weekend! Not to mention I got to use my GPS for the first time and it works amazingly well! It got us down there and back easily without any problems. I was so glad because I'm absolutely horrible with directions. I praise the inventors of the GPS! They are amazing.

St Patricks Day

Happy St. Patricks Day all! Sporting my bright Green C'n Green Land care sweatshirt I celebrate St. Patricks day at school being extremely bored, doing nothing fun at all.
How amazing does that sound? I will be celebrating St. Patricks day later by not eating corn beef and cabbage because it is disgusting and yucky. If my moms making it for dinner, I wont be home!
I did always love the color green though and I think the whole idea of lepercons and pots of gold is fun. That's probably the only reason I really ever did like St. Patricks day. Have a wonderful St. Patricks day all! Eat lots of corn beef and cabbage to make up for what I wont be eating.
