Photo Shoot
Today is a great day, my last day of school before spring break. I'm so excited! I've finally completed all my final projects and now all I have to do is hand them in. Yesterday I had a huge final project to do and I almost didnt think I was gonna get it done but I have completed it. I have been quite busy with all these other projects so I had to leave it until last minute. Thats definitely not a smart idea but I did get it finished!
My sister, her friend Caitlin and I went to my school last night and I shot pictures of them in the photography studio that we have. I had to choose a fashion photography picture and re-create it which was semi difficult but not to bad. The pictures turned out pretty decent if I do say so myself. I'm sure I could of done better if I would of had more time but the pictures we did get will just have to do.
I'm hoping to check out the studio again another day and shoot some more pictures of my sister and Caitlin. Just for fun though, not for a project.
Videos from Dekalb!
I figured I'd post a few videos from our time down in Dekalb since I finally uploaded them to my computer. Dekalb was alot of fun! When can we come back Chandra?
Chandra getting her groove on!
Holly doing her thing!
Ceila's in a sleeping bag? =D

Crazyness and Dekalb.
Its almost spring break, I'm so excited its finally here. Things have been getting crazy at school since its almost the end of the quarter. I've been going a little crazy as well with school work and final projects and such. This weekend was great though! My friend Ceila and I drove down to Dekalb Illinois to visit our good friend Chandra. We stayed over night at her apartment until Sunday and left on Sunday night. It was so much fun! Complete girls weekend. We reminisced about all these old times like middle school, high school and had fun dancing and listening to music as well. We ate a bunch of junk food and stayed up really late and eventually crashed on the couches in her living room. It was a great weekend! Not to mention I got to use my GPS for the first time and it works amazingly well! It got us down there and back easily without any problems. I was so glad because I'm absolutely horrible with directions. I praise the inventors of the GPS! They are amazing.

St Patricks Day
Happy St. Patricks Day all! Sporting my bright Green C'n Green Land care sweatshirt I celebrate St. Patricks day at school being extremely bored, doing nothing fun at all.
How amazing does that sound? I will be celebrating St. Patricks day later by not eating corn beef and cabbage because it is disgusting and yucky. If my moms making it for dinner, I wont be home!
I did always love the color green though and I think the whole idea of lepercons and pots of gold is fun. That's probably the only reason I really ever did like St. Patricks day. Have a wonderful St. Patricks day all! Eat lots of corn beef and cabbage to make up for what I wont be eating.

Jessica and Carls new house
Today I was finally able to get over to Jessica and Carl's new house. A few times previously my parents were able to get over there and last time my sister was able to make it as well. However, I've been busy with school and work so I haven't had a chance yet. Today I finally did get over there with my parents though. YAY!
I'd only seen the outside of the house once previously but that was when it was vacant so we couldn't go inside, we just went over for a peek. This time I didn't have to look like a crazy person peeking inside all the windows, I was actually able to go inside!
They got all there stuff moved in not to long ago. Now there still unpacking a little bit but for the most part things are set up.
The house seems semi large from the outside but once you actually get inside its huge, tons of space! The outside of it is white and its a two story house. I got them a welcome mat as a house warming gift for there front door. Now they can think of me every time they wipe there feet haha.
Anyways, I'm very happy for them. The house is wonderful!

Complaints!
Hello all,
I haven't posted in a few days so I figured while I had sometime in between my two classes I would do so. I'm having a wonderful day and tomorrow will be even more wonderful, once I get out of school that is. I do however have a math test tomorrow, ugh! Its on everything we've learned so far so I'm definitely not looking forward to it at all. At least tomorrows Wednesday, almost the weekend!
Currently I am waiting to start my Advanced Camera and Lighting class which I am not looking forward to tonight. The class is mostly learning about video and as much as I like video I only like doing it on my own. I hate the technical aspect of it. Now photography on the other hand, which we will be doing for the last project.. well, I love everything about photography even the technical stuff. Thus I am not looking forward to starting the next video project in this class, its going to be terrible! Not to mention the camera we use still uses tape decks! They aren't hard drive cameras which is extremely dumb because then we have to capture using all this software stuff which is a pain when we could just have hard drive cameras and everything would be so much easier! So basically this blog is just me complaining about everything I guess.
So for our next project in this lighting class we will choose a movie scene and re-create the lighting, camera movement and subject movement. So, although it seems like a very amazing project to an average person its terrible and it will be a pain to do.
Anyways, enough about school. In other news, that interview I had at Picture People called me back today saying they had filled the position. I did not get the job but its totally cool because at least I tried and maybe they'll keep me in mind later on. I'll try applying at some other photography places around here and maybe I'll have better luck with one of those. Anyways, no more complaining. I'm ending this blog post now. I hope all who read this have a super night and wonderful wednesday tomorrow.
