2 Year Anniversary

Yesterday on September 26th John and I celebrated our two year anniversary. It was a special day so I made John some oreo cookie cheesecake. I always bake things like brownies, cakes and cookies and bring them over to his house. He lives with all guys so they usually devour it all instantly. Cheesecake on the other hand is one thing I don't make very often because it takes longer to make and its more of a tedious process then anything else I would bake. It was a special day though so I decided to make John the cheesecake he had been bugging me for for about a month. John also had a small little strawberry sponge cake that he had bought. It was delicious!
Anyways, we basically just hung out at his house all day, we went to the mall for a while and later on we went to see a movie. We saw Legend of the Guardians in IMAX
3D at our theater. Besides the fact that it was about owls the story was actually really good. I didn't think I was going to like the movie as much as I did. All in all it was a great day and I hope we can celebrate many more anniversary's together. Things are very well with us and I want it to stay that way.

The End!

I'm officially done with school for the quarter. I finished with my last class yesterday from 9-11. Next week I have a week of freedom before I start my new classes on October 4th. Next quarter is going to be insane because I have four classes and there all on the same day. My counselor couldn't set me up with anything else, this is all she could do for me. She says its alot but she thinks I'm awesome and that I can handle it. I just started laughing because I know that's totally not true. I'm gonna go insane next quarter! I'm a very organized person, everything needs to be just right and next quarter I don't know how that's going to happen. I'm taking location photography, Photographic Essay and Visual, Advanced Image Manipulation and Statistics in Research. I'll start at 8:00 in the morning on Mondays and Wednesdays and I'll finish by 9:20 at night. Tuesdays and Thursdays I will have no classes though so I don't know if this will be a good thing or a bad thing. Will see how it goes, wish me luck.

Monday

Today is Monday and let me tell you, it's just one of those crazy Mondays where nothing goes right. I was at my friend Chandra's house shooting pictures of her for a project all day yesterday. I was there from 11am to 9pm at night shooting pictures and hanging out and it was alot of fun. The theme I choose to do for this fashion project was originally women doing men's jobs. Jobs you don't normally see women doing such as a landscaper, construction worker or a mechanic. That was the theme I was originally going with until my teacher totally changed my project on me last minute. He told me he wanted me to do pin up shots because the test shots I had took looked like they would work great as pin up shots. Thus, I spent all day yesterday shooting pin up shots of my good friend Chandra.
Today I ran out the door for school running late and almost forgetting all my lighting equipment. I get to school and I realise I forgot the matte paper I needed to print my photos on. Now they have to print my photos on glossy paper which is totally unacceptable in the photography world. I'm freaking out about my physics grade and about my final projects being on glossy paper. To top it all off I have a terrible cold and it got no better today when I woke up with an awful cough. Its just one of those days I guess. Tomorrow is going to be the best day ever, its just today that I'm having a problem with. As soon as this week is over though my quarter is done and I'm freeeeeeee! I have a whole week off of school to recuperate before my new quarter starts on October 4th. Hallelujah!

Fun at Work

Today was an interesting day, overall I'd say it was great! I wasn't really looking forward to going to work today. Being there for eight hours from 3-11 is tiring. It turned out great though when I arrived at work and found out there was going to be all this crazy fun stuff going on. We just got IMAX at our theater so they were trying to promote Resident Evil in IMAX 3-D so they had a whole bunch of fun activities going on. They had the mayor of Schaumburg come and cut a red ribbon with some large scissors. We had B96 radio station playing music and giving away prizes all night. We had people dressed up as zombies walking around, karate masters doing demonstrations and we even had free face painting. I wanted to get my face painted really badly but I couldn't leave the concession stand. Darnet! They were packed up and gone by the time I got off.
They definitely went all out to promote our new IMAX. It was awesome! We were dancing, hanging out and watching the show all night. The managers didn't tell any of us this was even going to be happening so it was a surprise. I wish I would of brought my camera and my video camera with me though. I always have it with me at work and everywhere I go but today however, I just wanted to get to work and get done with my shift as fast as possible. I didn't think there was gonna be all this awesome fun stuff going on.
Now I'm going to bed because its almost 1:00 am. Goodnight.

More Babys!

Yes, there are going to be more baby's added to our family. I wasn't to shocked when I found out Kyle and Teri were having another baby. I would say I was very happy and excited for them more then anything. Yesterday however, when I heard that Donna is also pregnant and that her and Owen are having twins I was very shocked. I think I'm just shocked at the fact that we're going to have twins in the family. It will be a little weird because I don't know any twins. I wonder if they'll be identical?
Anyways, I just had to blog about this because its so awesome. I'm very excited for Kyle and Teri and Owen and Donna. Its gonna be great I'm sure! Congrats guys!!

Eyeball!

I haven't posted on my blog in a while but that's because I haven't done anything. Ive just been going to school and work every single day. However, today I went down to Chicago with my good friend from school. His name is Mike and we took the train down to Chicago to take pictures and see some art. We went to Pritzker Park and saw a giant eyeball sculpture by artist Tony Tasset, it was awesome! It stands 30 feet high and it looks exactly like a real eyeball with detailed veins and everything. Next we went to Millennium Park of course because Mike had never been to Millennium Park before! I was shocked when he told me because I have been there at least twenty times. Thus, we went to Millennium Park and saw all the art, took lots of pictures and walked around. It started out a cool day in Roselle but down in Chicago it was absolutely gorgeous out. It wasn't to hot or to cold, it was perfect! It got a little warm later in the day but there was still a very nice breeze. After walking around for a while we were craving something cold so we went to Jamba Juice and got smoothies. I had a strawberry whirl smoothie and it was delicious! I'm so glad we were able to get down to Chicago on such a nice day. As soon as we arrived back at the Schaumburg train station it was raining so we got lucky. At least it didn't rain while we were down in Chicago.
