Introducting....

As of Wednesday February 23, 2011 Owen and Donna brought Gwyneth Austin and Lillian Janice Burritt into the world. These two beautiful twin girls arrived on Wednesday which just so happens to be my mothers birthday as well. They arrived at 1:51 and 1:52 in the afternoon by Cesarean section. They weren't supposed to come until March 9th but they just couldn't wait any longer. Now there are officially five girls on the Burritt side! Kyri, Tessa, Charlotte, Gwyneth and Lillian.
Donna is doing well as far as I know. From what I've heard she'll be staying in the hospital this weekend until about Sunday probably.
These two new baby girls are fraternal twins and I'm sure there alot to handle already. On top of having Charlotte they'll also have to manage the twins as well.
Congratulations you two and good luck!

1 years old

Yesterday on Febuary 20, 2011 at 5:43 pm my blog officially turned 1 years old. Last February 20, 2010 at 5:43 pm was when I posted the first post to my new blog. Now one year later here we are in 2011 celebrating my blogs 1st birthday. My blog and I have been together for a whole year, I have been blogging for 365 days.
Ironically enough in my first ever blog post I wrote about being sick with the flu and this past weekend I have been sick as ever. Yesterday was Febuary 20th, my blogs first birthday and I had the worst cold and a terrible cough.

"Today I begin my blog. I have pondered the thought of creating a blog for a long time and finally today on this random Saturday I am starting my blog. I am sick in bed with the flu and nothing to do".

I guess its just not in the books for me to be well on my blogs birthday. Will see what next year brings. Happy 1st birthday one day late blog!

50 Years!

Last night we celebrated my mothers 50th birthday at Rock Bottom Brewery in Yorktown with most of her friends and family. Her official birthday isn't until Wednesday actually. My parents are going back to Rock Bottom on her official birthday to get a free meal because there apart of the rock bottom mug club there. It was a fun time and you cant beat a free meal, my dad paid for everything surprisingly.
My mom's college roommate Sandy was able to make it and she bought my mom an over the hill cane with some mirrors and horns on it. After my mothers birthday we'll retire it to grandma, "coming through, dishes to do!"
I'm glad I was able to make it because I don't get to see everybody very often. John and I worked morning shifts so we both came. Owen and Kyle were there, Jessica and Carl, Debbie and Gary and a few of my mom and dads friends made it also.
For my mothers birthday John and I got her an xbox 360 with kinect. My sister ended up giving my mom the kinect Zumba Fitness that John and I bought to go with the console. My mother has said a few times that she wanted the Wii so she could do fitness on it. After much thought and opinions from people telling me how great the kinect was I went with the kinect. Everyone recommended it over the Wii and it does look real fun so I hope I made the right choice. Cant wait to play it!
Happy 50th Birthday Mother, your finally over the hill.

Valentines Day Foam Pit

I went over to my friend Celia's house after school today. Her and her sister and I were going to go see Gnomeo and Juliet for something to do on Valentines day. However, we ended up going to this place called Xtreme Trampolines instead. It is located in Carol Stream and its one of the funnest places I've been to in a while.
We had a blast!
They have endless amounts of trampolines, a huge trampoline dodge ball court and even trampolines that lead into a huge foam pit. It's such a workout, its unbelievable how tired you get after just a few minutes. You pay $11 for an hour time slot and by the time the hour is up you feel like you've been there for five hours.
We had an awesome time jumping around on all the trampolines, doing flips into the foam pit and even playing dodge ball.
After our hour was up we left the place dragging ourselves to the car because we were so tired. We then went to Steak and Shake and got milkshakes. I had never been there before and I had no idea the milkshakes were so huge. I got mint cookies and creme, some how I managed to finish it. I feel like I wanna blow up now.
This was a great Valentines Day, I'm glad we were able to get out and find something fun to do.

Meeting Tessa

Today I met baby Tessa for the first time. I went over to Kyle and Teri's house around lunch time and we had some chili for lunch, played with Kyri and visited with baby Tessa. I was Tessa's first in home visitor! Yesterday was Teri's first day home from the hospital with Tessa.
Since Teri had a c-section shes not aloud to lift anything heavy or even drive for two whole weeks because of her stitches. Even though Teri's home on leave from work she has to take care of the new baby as well as Kyri who can be pretty rambunctious sometimes.
Tessa didn't open her eyes once while I was there, she just slept the whole entire hour and half but that's what baby's do I guess. Maybe next time...

Project 365 Days

Soon I might be starting a project called project 365 days which is basically me putting a video up of myself or anything happening in my life. One video every single day for 365 days to document my daily life for a whole year or even longer if I choose. I'm not sure when I'll be starting this project but its a fun idea and everyone should join me in this project by watching my daily vlogs on YouTube.
The new YouTube channel I created a while back (AmazingHammTastic) hasn't been used for anything yet but I've wanted to start up something great on that channel so this is my chance. Thus, I'm going to start doing daily vlogs on that channel. For those of you who don't know video lingo a vlog is a video blog. Join me on YouTube by watching my everyday life. These videos can be short videos, long videos, they can be edited.. whatever I choose to do. However, every day will be labeled as to what day it is.
Day 1, Day 24, Day 57 ect.. and they will have a title.
(Day 17 Cats at the mall)

I'm thinking about creating a name for this web series but I'm not sure what yet, any suggestions? As for when this project is going to start I'm not quite sure yet but I'll let you know. I want to start it on a special day, not just any ordinary day. Maybe on some body's birthday, maybe on a holiday. Any thoughts on this project? I'd love some feedback. =D

This blog wouldn't be complete without a picture of baby Tessa and her new family. However, seeing as though I don't have one I just blog stole this wonderful picture.
That's not a crime, right? Its a good picture! =D

CRAZZZYY BLIZZRD!

The past few days have been pretty intense but I've had alot of fun. On Tuesday they closed work early at 2:30 pm so we all went home. I didn't think it was that bad out until I actually got onto the roads, I was slipping and sliding every where. I guess it was a good thing they let us out when they did. I was safe at home before the crazy blizzard actually started. My mom and I went out in the blizzard and walked around that night while my dad was out plowing. It was fun but the snow was blowing so hard side ways you could barley open your eyes.
The next day was a massive snow day, nobody went to work. McDonolds wasn't open, not even Walmart. All I can say to that is...WOAH!
Since the roads still weren't good enough to drive on I got all my gear on and instead trudged through the snow over to my friends house on foot. Her and her sisters and I hung out all day long playing in the snow, drinking hot chocolate and watching movies. It was a great snow day, I'm so glad I didn't have to go to school.
Today is Thursday and unfortunately my great snow day had to end sometime. I braved the roads this morning to make it to work by 10am. When I got to work I found out the heat was broken so we all froze all day with no heat. The heat guy was there all day shoveling the roof off and trying to fix the heat but he wasn't going fast enough.
I left at 5:15 pm and the heat still hadn't been fixed. It was busyer than expected though because all the schools were off for a second day so surprisingly everyone came to see a movie. I'm sure they all froze though because there was no heat in the theaters.
On a good note my dad made tons of money plowing. He couldn't keep up with the phone calls he was getting. He'd plow a house and get back into his car and he'd have three more missed calls for more people wanting him to plow there driveway. On top of his regular accounts he had all these other customers calling him. Unfortunately my boyfriend John picked this week to go to Arizona. He's down there visiting his mom so my dad had no help. There both sorry because John could of been making a ton of money and my dad could of gotten alot more done.
Anyhow, that's all for my snow adventure story. Hope everyone had a great snow day!
